We are seeking a Regional Trainer to strengthen our current team to deliver quality training to our staff to enable them to provide excellent standards of person-centred care. In this role you will be responsible for the entire end to end process of training design, delivery and evaluation, so you’ll have the opportunity to shape what we deliver! Your role
Utilising your previous experience of working within the adult social care industry, and working within the regulatory framework, you will be skilled at identifying learning needs and evaluating learning and development programmes through observation and feedback. You will support a cluster of homes/services across the Northwest ensuring that staff have access to on-going skills development, as required for the care sector and working within Sanctuary Care/SSL.
Your skills
You will need to be hard working, have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team, and solely, whilst being remotely managed. Communication and organisational skills are therefore essential as you will work closely with people at all levels of the organisation, to ensure cost effective training is delivered appropriately and consistently, tailoring learning solutions and services to meet a wide variety of needs. You will ideally hold a certificate in teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, CIPD certificate in training practice or have recent experience working in a similar role and the Care Sector. Strong computer skills and experience of working to challenging deadlines are essential for success in this role.
If you have a passion for learning and development, coupled with an innovative, pragmatic and flexible approach, you will be equipped to meet the needs and add value to our fast-paced organisation. Frequent and overnight travel is a requirement of this role; therefore a full, current driving licence and flexibility is essential to travel across the region and other regions is requested.
