Role Overview
Multi‑Trade Operatives (Carpenter) will support essential maintenance across our properties, delivering timely, high‑quality repairs across void and tenanted properties in London.
Responsibilities
- Attend occupied or void properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties.
- Resolve problems or set in motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed.
- Maintain a suitable van stock level and restock when needed.
- Provide accurate and timely information on the progress of works to the customer.
- Analyze and diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
- Use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling.
- Drive company vehicle where required, holding a full valid UK driving licence.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical); if plumbing is required, NVQ Level 3 with Unvented G3 Certificate and WRAS.
- Proof of qualifications; copies or CSCS cards not accepted.
- Working experience in analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
- PC literate with ability to use and update computerised systems for scheduling.
- Hold a full valid UK driving licence for company vehicle use.
