40 hours per week - Shifts to be worked from 8:00am to 16:30pm over a 6‑day rolling rota.

Role Overview

Multi‑Trade Operatives (Carpenter) will support essential maintenance across our properties, delivering timely, high‑quality repairs across void and tenanted properties in London.

Responsibilities

  • Attend occupied or void properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties.
  • Resolve problems or set in motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed.
  • Maintain a suitable van stock level and restock when needed.
  • Provide accurate and timely information on the progress of works to the customer.
  • Analyze and diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling.
  • Drive company vehicle where required, holding a full valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical); if plumbing is required, NVQ Level 3 with Unvented G3 Certificate and WRAS.
  • Proof of qualifications; copies or CSCS cards not accepted.
  • Working experience in analysing and diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
  • PC literate with ability to use and update computerised systems for scheduling.
  • Hold a full valid UK driving licence for company vehicle use.
