We have an opportunity for a Compliance Caretaker to join our North Estate Services team, based in Liverpool. As a Compliance Caretaker you will be testing the fire alarms, ELT, and water tests on all our schemes and sites around the area. Work may include emptying properties, collecting fly tipping, grounds maintenance, hard/soft landscaping, voids clearances, fencing and any other related works. The role is lone working, and the candidate will need to be self-motivated and good with spreadsheets and technology.
Responsibilities- Carry out risk assessments to identify and report any potential maintenance issues to ensure a safe environment is maintained and to support planned maintenance programmes.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and used in line with policies and procedures and relevant regulations, reporting faults, hazards and inappropriate practice promptly, to ensure a safe living and working environment.
- Provide accurate and timely information on progress and advice that is easily understood by the customer and ensure accurate daily work records are completed to meet organisational standards.
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in a suitable condition.
- Experience in a similar role or completing similar tasks.
- Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery.
- Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
- Good communication and customer service skills with an excellent work ethic.
This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
