We have an opportunity for a Caretaker to join our Estate Services team within Property Services in Liverpool. The Northwest Estates Team consists of around 100+ operatives across the region. The role will be lone-working and as part of a team of 2; however, you will join a wider team of operatives. The team carry out estate management, such as hard and soft landscaping, fly tipping, void clearances, paving and fencing repairs.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking general caretaking duties including cleaning communal areas such as stairs, doors and windows and removing bulk waste
- Grounds maintenance tasks to include litter picking and general upkeep
- Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
- Communicating effectively with management and updating paper and electronic records daily
- Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in a suitable condition
Skills
- Experience in a similar role or completing similar tasks
- Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
- Some experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.

£26,442 per annum (rising to £27,833 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance).
