Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, fault fixing, maintenance duties, and commissioning of gas central heating systems within commercial properties.
- Provide accurate and timely information on progress, ensuring accurate daily work records are completed.
- Respond positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations.
- Resolve problems or set in motion means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed.
Qualifications
- Basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (covered by the employer) is required for successful candidates.
- Full compliance with health and safety legislation. Candidates must be qualified to one or more of the following: CCN1, CDGA1, CENWAT, CIGA1, CKR1, COCN1, CPA1, Energy Efficiency Qualification, HTR1, ICPN1, Unvented – G3 Certificate, WRAS. Those currently undertaking any of these qualifications are also considered.
- Original certification evidence of qualifications must be brought to the interview; copies or CSCS cards are not accepted.
- Recent experience in a similar commercial gas engineering role.
- Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation.
- Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads.
- Excellent communication and customer care skills.
- Working knowledge of the installation, servicing and maintenance of gas heating systems in commercial properties.
- Valid UK driving licence, required for company vehicle use.
