Responsibilities

  • Look after the day-to-day needs of our residents, while showing compassion, care and commitment to having a positive impact on their lives.
  • Work with a team of like-minded individuals to ensure residents are comfortable in their home.
  • Support Care Assistants in their development.
  • Work as part of a team to enrich residents’ lives, support colleagues, and enjoy the work environment.
  • Provide the highest quality of personalised care in line with individual care plans.
  • Facilitate leisure and social activities as part of daily duties.

What skills do I need?

  • Team work – a happy team contributes to happy residents and a happy home.
  • Experience in care is an essential requirement; NVQ3 in Social Care is desirable.
  • Effective communication and a flexible approach.
  • Kindness and genuine regard for older people and their needs, with respect and dignity.
