We have an opportunity for an Administration Officer based in Hull, to provide an efficient and comprehensive support and administrative service to the regional teams within the Sanctuary Housing Services.
The job sits within Sanctuary Housing Services which manages homes across England, providing general rented housing, market rent properties, shared ownership and home ownership accommodation. It also provides housing related services including lettings, debt management, tenancy management and customer services support.
The role of Administration Officer will include:
- Delivering, improving, maintaining and monitoring effective and efficient administrative systems
- Supporting the regional teams by ensuring accurate and timely information is collected, collated, prepared and presented
- Providing managers and colleagues with clear guidance, information and practical advice on business support services
- Supporting the management and maintenance of relationships with internal and external stakeholders, residents and contractors, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately, including investigating and responding to complaints
- Maintaining effective filing systems, database records and processes, ensuring they are as user friendly and accessible as possible
Skills and experiences:
- Able to demonstrate a level of numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
- Some experience of working with data, including inputting and updating databases
- Some experience of resolving problems
- Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads, both for self and others
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and basic Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and use own initiative

Role salary is £27,177 (rising to £28,607 after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
