Housing Officer – Part Time

18.75 hours per week – Monday to Wednesday
Temporary position for up to 12 months
We have an opportunity for a Housing Officer to join our team of 9 based in Cumbernauld. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that high quality housing management services are delivered to our residents with a focus on making a real difference to their lives. You will be a generic housing officer with responsibility for a patch within the Cumbernauld Area.
In this role you will manage a wide range of situations, helping to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, whilst working in a professional manner to resolve problems and improve services. As a Housing Officer you will be responsible for delivering excellent housing services to our tenants, we are looking for a pro-active Housing Officer to join our dedicated team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you\\\’ll be at the heart of our housing operations.
The role of Housing Officer will include:
- Deliver high quality housing services including Estate Management, rent collection and ASB case work
- Engage with tenants regularly to identify and resolve issues early
- Use digital system (SAP, ReACT and Power BI) to record actions, monitor trends and report on performance
- Support community engagement events
- Embrace change, promote service improvements and collaborate across the group
- Use technology to streamline processes and enhance customer experience
- Completing estate management weekly inspections
- Ensuring compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements for all housing management activities
Skills and experiences
- Experience in Social Housing at Housing Officer level (or similar customer focused environment)
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied and challenging work load
- Confident communicator with a positive solutions focused attitude
- Confident in the use of IT systems, Microsoft and reporting tools
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external customers
- Passionate about community engagement, tenant wellbeing and social housing
- SVQ3 in relevant area or equivalent qualification
- Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
