Supported Housing and Contracts Manager

To cover Midlands area ( Base office is Stonebrook Way, Birmingham)

37.5 hours per week

We’re looking for a professional and motivated individual to join our Housing & Contracts team, Team and manage a number of contracts for our agent managed supported housing schemes and housing managed only properties across the Midlands area.

You will be an organised team player with great communication skills as the role willinvolve managing relationships withtheagentsand monitoringperformance of their housing management activities.

The role of Housing and Contracts Manager will include:

  • Delivering high quality contract management of agent managed services
  • Assisting with budget setting and monitoring of management accounts
  • Ensuring all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing services activities are met
  • Managing the delivery of high-quality customer service
  • Completing health and safety and property inspections
  • Providing housing management advice and guidance
  • Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Completing regular site visits and liaison meetings to ensure a quality service is being provided, which is in line with our policies and procedures and all relevant legislation, governance, and legal requirements

Skills and experiences:

  • Sound experience working within supported living or housing management
  • You may be a current Deputy in a Supported Housing or Retirement Scheme with contracts or housing compliance experience and looking for progression
  • Previous experience managing third party stakeholders
  • Focused, with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads and communicate effectively to different audiences
  • Ability to work on own initiative is essential
  • Previous experience managing RP/Agent relationships
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation, and good practice
  • A flexible approach to work, with the ability to travel extensively
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, and Radar would be advantageous
  • Extensive travel is a requirement of the role; therefore, a full, current driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
