Bank Project Worker £14.57 per hour. Hours as and when required – to cover the scheme and the opportunity to cover the outreach visits (5–8am and 10pm–1am). Be the reason someone finds their footing. You’ll be part of a compassionate, community-focused team supporting people experiencing homelessness, that puts people first – every single day.

Your role:

  • Support customers who have experienced homelessness to build independence and reach their potential
  • Assess needs and update support plans
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer queries
  • Build positive relationships that respect choice, privacy and dignity
  • Work with external partners to boost confidence, health and wellbeing, and encourage education and employment
  • Occasional travel may be a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is desirable

Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting adults who have experienced homelessness
  • Positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach
  • Able to work well in a team and independently
  • Strong organisational skills with good literacy and numeracy
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Safeguarding and pre‑employment checks, including criminal records and overseas police checks if needed
