General Assistant Cleaning
Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a General Assistant Cleaning for our Retirement Communities Service at Roman Ridge, Sheffield.

Role
- Undertake general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of all communal areas, offices and the kitchen
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
- Identify and report potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment
- Maintain stock levels, restocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes
- Help to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards and ensuring customers’ needs are met
- Ensure customers’ privacy and dignity are maintained and respected
Skills and Experience
- Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable
- Some experience of working in a domestic/catering environment
- Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering, or willingness to work towards it
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- A general understanding of health and safety in the workplace
