Part Time General Assistant
£12.71per hour
20 hours per week and 30 hours pe r week available
Joining our housekeeping team, you willbe responsible forproviding a high-quality cleaning and domestic service in the student accommodation. During term time your duties will be cleaning of communal areas, and cleaning of any empty properties. In vacation periods, you will deep clean vacant flats in preparation for summer business.
The role ofGeneral Assistantwill include:
- Providing high quality cleaning services for bedrooms, kitchens,pathwaysand communal areas
- Identifyingand reporting any hazards and faults to ensure a safe environment is maintained
- Organising stores on site and carrying out checks of equipment, replacing when necessary
- Assisting with required compliance checks including, water flushing, carbon monoxide alarms and fire fighting equipment
- Any other tasks as required by management
Skills and experiences:
- Previouscleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable
- Ability to work on own initiative and with fast changing requirements
- Previousexperience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues as and whenrequired
