Temporary Cleaner – Part Time
Kelvinhaugh Residences, Glasgow
£12.21 per hour
20 hours per week
Temporary position for up to 6 months
Joining our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality cleaning and domestic service in the student accommodation. During term time your duties will be cleaning of communal areas, and cleaning of any empty properties. In vacation periods, you will deep clean vacant flats in preparation for summer business.
The position of Cleaner is referred to internally at Sanctuary, as General Assistant – Cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Providing high quality cleaning services for bedrooms, kitchens, pathways and communal areas
- Identifying and reporting any hazards and faults to ensure a safe environment is maintained
- Organising stores on site and carrying out checks of equipment, replacing when necessary
- Any other tasks as required by management
Skills and experience
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable
- Ability to work on own initiative and with fast changing requirements
- Previous experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues as and when required
