We're excited to welcome a General Assistant - Catering to support the preparation and serving of nutritious, well-presented meals at our Doddington Court, Benwick Road, Doddington, Cambridgeshire, PE15 0WD Retirement Community, without the long hours or split shifts often found in hospitality. Working as part of a friendly kitchen team, you'll help create a positive dining experience for residents within a calm, well-organised environment.   • Help prepare meals and drinks while following food hygiene standards
  • Support customers and colleagues to deliver a high standard of service
  • Keep kitchens, communal areas, and flats clean and tidy
  • Report any faults or hazards to maintain a safe environment
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure equipment is used safely, We can only accept applications from individuals with the right to work in the UK.

  • Experience with general cleaning duties (desirable)
  • Some experience in a domestic or catering environment
  • Level 2 diploma in housekeeping or catering, or willingness to work towards
  • Good interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Basic understanding of health and safety in the workplace
