We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused individual for the role of Deputy Accommodation Manager based at NHS Romford. The role requires consistently delivering exceptional customer service and assisting staff with any escalations while maintaining a Health and Safety compliant environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Accommodation Manager in running the site
- Compliance management
- Assist with the daily running and planning of a site team
- Managing the recruitment, performance and development of staff
- Oversee the management of vacant rooms to ensure timely turnover
- Oversee cleaning and repairs for the properties
- Assist with the preparation of local budgets and monitor spend‑raising purchase orders
- Support monitoring of contract service performance, taking action to address poor performance and promote best practice
Skills and experiences
- Some experience of working in student accommodation, hotel, hospitality or property sector is essential
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and negotiation skills
- Experience of managing staff within a customer facing environment
- Ability to extract and interrogate data from computer systems
- Experience of residential booking systems is desirable
- Good working knowledge of compliance and building management
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
