The position of Cleaning Assistant is referred to internally as General Assistant - Cleaning.

Responsibilities
- Undertaking general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of communal areas, offices, and the kitchen
- Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
- Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site to maintain a safe environment
- Maintaining stock levels, restocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes
- Helping to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards, and ensuring the needs of our customers are met
- Ensuring customers’ privacy and dignity are maintained and respected
Skills and experience
- Working knowledge and experience of general cleaning duties (desirable)
- Some experience in a domestic/catering environment
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- General understanding of health and safety in the workplace
