We have an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Carpenter/Joiner to join our team based in Chester. You’ll be working towards a Level 2 nationally recognised qualification in Carpentry & Joinery while gaining practical on‑the‑job experience and off‑the‑job training at Cheshire College (Ellesmere Port campus). This apprenticeship will provide a route to further skills, opportunities and progression.
The role of Apprentice Carpentry and Joinery will include:
- You will work in the North West region based in Chester, covering areas such as Stoke‑on‑Trent and Manchester, so expect some travel.
- This role will give you valuable practical experience, as well as the customer‑facing skills needed to build a career in the industry.
Skills and experiences:
- A minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent), including Maths and English
- Good practical and problem‑solving skills
- Enjoy getting stuck in to physically demanding work
- Driving on company business – a full valid UK driving licence is required or you must be working towards one
