We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Assistant to join our team in Octavian Centre in Chester. If you’re looking for an exciting and varied role where no two days are the same, and you’re passionate about supporting people, we may have your perfect role!
This is a n exciting role within Sanctuary Supported Living, which encompasses the full complement of the business support functions. This involves a wide range of tasks from taking minutes, raising purchase orders, managing ad hoc enquiries and requests for administrative support. Your work will directly enable our frontline staff to focus on our customers, while we support them with the administrative work.
The successful candidate will ideally have come from an administrative background, who is highly organised and with a proven history of managing and prioritising a varied workload.
The role of Business Support Assistant will include:
- Various administrative role to enable our frontline staff to focus on our customers
- Managing your own workload and review work being requested from schemes
- Working through tasks in a co-ordinated approach and manner
- Communicating with team members around various regions to ensure standards are maintained to a consistently high level
- Supporting other areas of the team when required
Skills and experiences:
- Experience of working in a similar role within a supported living or customer service setting would be advantageous
- NVQ2 in Business and Administration or similar, or willing to work towards is desirable
- Knowledge and experience of using SAP and other internal systems is desirable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- A good level of experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
