We offer a hands-on apprenticeship program in partnership with SCCB / Boardersley Green Campus. Gas Engineering apprentices work alongside fully qualified gas engineers on servicing, repairs, maintenance, and installations of gas appliances and heating systems. You will gain a Domestic Natural Gas Installation and Maintenance – Level 3 qualification at the end of the programme.
Responsibilities
- Provide reactive gas maintenance and repair service in the Birmingham region.
- Undertake gas boiler and heating system replacements.
- Learn customer service skills essential to build and maintain a successful career in the gas and renewable industry.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including Maths and English.
- A keen interest in practical and technically challenging work within the gas and renewable industry.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- Hold a full UK driving licence, or be willing to undertake driving lessons with a view to holding a full UK driving licence upon completion of the apprenticeship.
