As the Local Service Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and development of the service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, recovery, and wellbeing. You will lead a team of support staff, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Provide strong, values-led leadership to the service team, ensure delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred support, oversee support planning, risk management, and service user outcomes, and maintain compliance with relevant legislation. Essential requirements:- Minimum of 12 months' experience in a management role within health or social care
- Excellent understanding of acute mental health conditions and recovery-focused approaches
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage teams and drive service quality
- Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory requirements
- Qualification or background as a Mental Health Practitioner (e.g. RMN, Social Worker, OT)
