Bank Project Worker

The role of Bank Project Worker will include:

  • Regularly assessing the needs of customers by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training, and employment
  • Supporting customers in their day to day living i.e., with cooking and cleaning
  • Offering advice in relation to fulfilling tenancy conditions
  • Assisting customers with managing finances and welfare benefits
  • Encouraging social inclusion and helping customers to build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem
  • Ensuring Sanctuary Supported Living delivers its safeguarding responsibilities

Skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience of working with vulnerable people
  • A positive approach to working with young people who have a range of needs
  • Good interpersonal and customer care skills, with an approachable attitude
  • Effective communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of action/support planning, key working, risk assessment and safeguarding
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel or similar
  • NVQ3 in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards
