Sanctuary Supported Living is recruiting a Bank Maintenance Assistant at our Retirement Community and Learning Disabilities Service at Wimborne House, Kent. We specialise in delivering a wide range of personalised housing, care, and support services to help people across England to live as independently as possible. Role details
- Bank Maintenance Assistant
- £13.52 per hour
- Hours as and when required
Responsibilities
- Undertaking site repairs and maintenance duties
- Identifying potential maintenance issues and liaising with any necessary specialists or contractors
- Carrying out planned routine works such as decorating
- Assisting in scheduled building checks and audits, ensuring safe and secure environments
- Serving as point of contact for contractors who are on site
Skills and experiences
- Previous experience in a maintenance position is essential
- Prior experience identifying and carrying out repairs
- Experience operating hand tools and light machinery
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Working knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
