Housekeeping Assistant – Role Overview
We work together as a team to enrich our residents’ lives. As a Housekeeping Assistant you will provide a high‑quality housekeeping service and show care and commitment to making residents comfortable in their home.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide thorough housekeeping service in residents’ rooms and shared areas.
- Maintain cleanliness, tidy up and arrange items in accordance with care standards.
- Communicate with residents and team members to address needs and support well‑being.
- Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
- Support the care home team in creating a warm, welcoming environment.
Required Skills and Traits
Teamwork, enthusiasm and caring attitude for older people. Excellent communication, flexible approach and genuine interest in residents’ dignity and respect. Training and support provided.
