Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Bank Catering Assistant at our Retirement Communities Service, Noble House in Worcester. The role of Bank Catering Assistant will include:
- Helping to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards
- Working with customers, families, advocates, and staff to ensure a high standard of services
- Undertaking general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, communal areas, and customers’ flats
- Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment
- Maintaining stock levels, restocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes
Skills and experiences:
- Some experience of working in a catering/hospitality environment is desirable
- Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- A general understanding of health and safety in the workplace
- NVQ2 in Hospitality & Catering, or willing to work towards is desirable
