Bank Care Assistant – Westwood House Nursing Home, East Milton Grove, East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, G75 8SN. Salary £12.60 per hour. Hours as and when required. Requisition: 223067. Department: Health and Social Care (Qualified and Non-Qualified). Closing Date: (not specified).

What you will do

  • We work together as a team to enrich residents’ lives and support our colleagues while having fun in the process.
  • Deliver the highest quality of personalised care to residents in line with their individual care plans.
  • Support leisure and social activities as a core part of the day.
  • Be kind and supportive to residents, their families and our colleagues, contributing to a positive and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care and support as a Bank Care Assistant as required.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure residents’ needs are met with dignity and respect.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Teamwork: a happy team supports happy residents and a happy home.
  • Experience is not essential; training and support are provided. Candidates should be caring, enthusiastic and energetic.
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible approach are essential.
  • Ability to be kind and have a genuine regard for older people and their needs, ensuring everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
