Role of Care and Support Assistant includes:
- Supporting customers with learning and physical disabilities to maximize independence
- Key working with individuals to develop and follow care plans
- Providing high-quality, personalized care including personal care and medication management
- Assisting with daily activities like washing and dressing
- Supporting community engagement, visits, and appointments
- Promoting social inclusion and a positive environment
- Ensuring safety and undertaking risk assessments
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in personal care is desirable
- Ability to work well independently and in a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs
- Strong organizational skills
- NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it is desirable
