Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Bank Assistant Chef at our CQC Registered Mental Health Scheme, Sidegate Lane, Ipswich.

Role of Bank Assistant Chef includes:
- Delivering a high-quality versatile catering service that caters for our customers’ individual needs, including special diets
- Assisting with the planning and creation of nutritionally balanced meals for our customers
- Promoting and monitoring food hygiene and safety standards
- Maintaining current risk assessments and cleaning the kitchen to a high standard
- Ability to work alone, in absence of Chef Manager
- Monitoring and ordering stock and receiving deliveries for the service
Skills and experiences:
- Previous experience of working in a catering environment is essential along with experience of cooking for various groups of people
- Proven knowledge of health and safety procedures and operation of catering equipment is essential
- Friendly and approachable attitude with the ability to interact with our customers, visitors, and colleagues
- Level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality, or knowledge at an equivalent level
