We are seeking an Administration Team Leader to lead our new team in Worcester. This role will sit within the Corporate Shared Service Centre (CSSC) and will be responsible for managing a team of 6 x Administration Assistants. The team will be responsible for completing all administration tasks within the CSSC, as well all records management activities, including the creation, maintenance, storage, retrieval, and disposal of physical and digital records. As the role will require the physical handling of documents, including boxes and files, some heavy lifting will be required, as well as standing and walking for prolonged periods.
This is a new team so responsibilities will include setting up the team (we are currently recruiting for the Administration Assistant roles), creating and establishing processes, developing process maps and training the team, whilst ensuring business requirements are met. Once the team are established and processes embedded, key responsibilities will be to lead the team to ensure completion of all daily activities.
The role of Administration Team Leader – CSSC will include:
- Managing the team ensuring high quality services are delivered to support the needs of the Group and enable team members to perform at consistently high levels
- Setting objectives for the team and monitoring delivery, identifying best practices and processes through continuous improvement encouraging new ideas and better ways of working
- Providing support to deliver consistently high quality and timely management information for customers and stakeholders to enable effective monitoring, support decision making, business planning and effective financial management
- Supporting the delivery of all CSSC administration ensuring accuracy, completeness and adherence to financial controls so regulatory and statutory requirements are met
Skills and experiences:
- Recent experience of working in a fast paced, transactional administrative role
- Proven experience of managing, motivating, inspiring and developing a team
- Working experience of undertaking processes analysis, identifying and implementing process improvements
- Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills
