The role of Legal Assistant – Conveyancing
- Support the delivery and process of conveyancing transactions, including homeownership re-sales, staircasing transactions, lease extensions, and homebuy loan redemptions.
- Coordinate effective legal administration services to ensure all transaction records and related activities are maintained accurately, demonstrating corporate compliance in all aspects of conveyancing.
- Maintain accurate, accessible, and up-to-date data on conveyancing transactions and related KPIs for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Assist in coordinating, communicating, and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, identifying service delivery shortfalls and addressing them appropriately.
- Contribute, as appropriate, to special programs and projects supporting the Group\’s values and objectives.
Skills and experiences:
- Proven experience in a similar administrative role is essential.
- Previous conveyancing experience is preferable.
- Experience in a customer service-focused admin role.
- Working knowledge of housing regulations, legislation, and current practices.
- High accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with a good telephone manner.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, or similar.
