Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Nights Care and Support Assistant at our CQC Registered,Learning & Physical Disabilities Service, Tollemache Respite Service.

The role of Care and Support Assistant will include:
- Delivering sensitive care and expert support to our customers
- Encouraging resident integration and inclusion into the community
- Promoting a positive culture by engaging with residents to prevent social isolation
- Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments
- Managing and implementing safeguarding principles to ensure the safety of our customers
- Sleep-ins (as and when required)
- General cleaning and cooking
- Keeping accurate and up-to-date records
Skills and experiences:
- Personalised approach to care, ideally with experience of working in a similar, care related role
- Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
- Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
- Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines and targets
- NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards
