35 hours per week. Three days office based and two days home working. £29,950.02 per annum rising to £31,526.31 per annum after 12 months satisfactory performance.

The role will include:
- Support with the preparation and production of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of journals including accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with the detailed reviews of accounts to ensure income and expenditure is appropriately accounted for
- Reviewing spend for anomalies, driving value for money, ensuring controls are followed, identifying problems, and resolving them in a timely manner
- Assisting with the review, development, implementation, and maintenance of monitoring systems, including process improvement
- Communicating effectively and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Skills and experiences:
- High level of numeracy and literacy equivalent to GCSE grade C in English and Maths
- AAT part/fully qualified, or equivalent level of qualification is desirable
- Previous experience in a similar finance role along with strong analytical skills is essential
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
- Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills allowing you to negotiate effectively
- Outstandingly organised with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications
- Previous experience of using SAP is desirable
