Bank Registered Nurse – Sanctuary Care
Park Lodge Care Home, Kirkton of Skene, Westhill, Aberdeen
Base pay: £20.96 per hour. Hours as and when required. Relocation package available. We pay up to £3,000 when you join Sanctuary Care.
Responsibilities
- You will give the highest quality of personalised care to residents in line with their individual care plans that you prepare and monitor.
- You will regularly communicate with residents, their families and staff both verbally and in writing.
- Providing comprehensive, systematic and accurate nursing assessments of the physical, psychological and social needs of residents will be at the heart of your day.
- Work as part of a team to enrich residents’ lives, supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards of care.
What skills and qualifications you need
- You will be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- You will have experience of working in a clinical setting.
- You will be able to communicate well and have a flexible approach.
- You will be kind with a genuine regard for older people, treating everyone with respect and dignity.
- You will use a good Nursing Process to formulate initial Nursing Diagnoses by collecting data from subjective and objective information and then prioritising and managing care.
- You will have experience of infection control, nutrition, moving and handling, wound care, phlebotomy and drug administration.
