Meadow View Residential Care Home, Blackthorn Road, Hersden, Canterbury, Kent, CT3 4GB

Pay: £13.54 per hour – 18 hours per week, alternate weekends

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that support residents’ physical, mental and social wellbeing
  • Get to know residents as individuals and involve them in activities they enjoy
  • Work closely with colleagues to create a positive, inclusive and fun atmosphere
  • Encourage participation from residents, families and the wider community
  • Bring new ideas and creativity to activities that enrich daily life
Qualifications
  • A caring, enthusiastic and kind approach with a genuine interest in older people
  • Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to support colleagues
  • Good communication skills and a flexible approach to work
  • Energy, creativity and confidence to engage others
  • Commitment to treating everyone with dignity and respect
  • Right to work in the UK and acceptance of safeguarding and pre‑employment checks (including criminal records and overseas police checks if required)
  • Experience in a care or community environment is desirable
