Own the full sales cycle for a compliance product 300 teams already rely on. The role sanctions.io is a scaling B2B regtech selling sanctions / AML screening and monitoring software to compliance and risk teams. We're growing our AE team across the UK and Europe. This is a true closing role. You'll own deals from qualified opportunity to signed contract, work a mix of inbound and self-sourced pipeline, and carry a quarterly number - with real autonomy over how you hit it. Not a seat in a big machine where leads are handed over and everything's scripted.
What you'll do
- Own the full cycle: discovery, tailored demos, objection handling, procurement and security review, close.
- Build pipeline: convert inbound fast, and self-source the rest into your territory.
- Sell a technical product credibly: get fluent in how compliance teams actually use us - APIs, integrations, watchlist coverage.
- Keep your pipeline honest: clean HubSpot data and reliable forecasting. We make decisions off the CRM.
- Hand off cleanly to Customer Success and feed real signal back to Growth and Product.
What we're looking for
- 3 years closing full-cycle B2B SaaS deals, with a clear record of hitting quota.
- Consultative seller who diagnoses before pitching; comfortable demoing a technical product.
- Disciplined with CRM hygiene and honest forecasting.
- Excellent English; a second European language (German, French, Spanish) is a plus.
- Selling into compliance, regtech, or fintech is a strong plus.
- Not a fit if you need leads handed to you and a fully scripted process, have only run huge enterprise deals where SDRs and SEs did the work, or come from transactional/B2C sales.
