Sanbra Group is an Irish owned & managed group of companies with headquarters in Dublin and Lisburn. The Group is made up of 15 companies spread across the island of Ireland and Great Britain who design, manufacture and wholesale distribute a wide range of quality approved products/brands to a long-established network of retail & trade merchant customers in Ireland, the U.K. and other export markets.
Due to the continued expansion of the Group and growth within our Lisburn facility, we are now looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The role will be based out of our Lisburn site, Co. Antrim. The Warehouse Supervisor will have responsibility to support warehouse managers with the daily running of a busy warehouse which operates from 7am to 7pm, Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- This position requires active involvement in all warehouse operations, including but not limited to: manual handling; order picking; unloading deliveries; loading trucks; and printing customer invoices.
- Assisting the Warehouse Manager in day-to-day operations and supervising staff in the Manager's absence.
- Managing and assigning the daily work plan.
- Monitoring accuracy and organisation during intake and outload.
- Supervising the picking and checking process for accuracy to ensure branch/customer orders are fulfilled correctly.
- Assisting in employee training, development, and engagement.
- Working with/supporting the site management team.
- Ensuring the prioritisation of Company Health & Safety protocols.
Essential criteria:
- 3 years experience in a warehouse supervisory position.
- Experience working in a busy warehouse/logistics depot.
- Experience working with a warehouse management system.
- Forklift/Aisle master license.
Key Requirements/Person specification:
- Highly organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Team player.
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work on your own initiative, decisive and enthusiastic.
- A qualification in logistics and supply chain management would be an advantage but not essential.
- Good numeracy and administrative skills with the ability to analyse figures.
- Good computer skills and experience using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Problem-solving skills and an ability to work on a tactical and strategic level.
