SAN Global Fashion is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Assistant Designer to join our growing design team at our Leicestershire head office.
With over 25 years’ experience, SAN is a global fashion supplier working with leading retailers across the UK, Europe and the USA.
We pride ourselves on delivering commercially successful collections while building long-term partnerships with our customers.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple product categories including baby, toddler, older girls, womenswear and nightwear, working alongside an experienced design team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the Head of Design and Design team across a wide range of projects.
- Creating and updating CADs using Adobe Illustrator.
- Preparing detailed and accurate tech packs for factory production.
- Conducting trend research and helping develop seasonal mood boards.
- Photographing, organising and tracking shopping and development samples.
- Liaising with overseas factories and internal teams to ensure designs are developed accurately.
- Assisting with presentations, design boards and project administration.
- What we’re looking for
- A degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline, or relevant industry experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and fashion CAD design.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and Google Slides.
- A keen eye for detail and an understanding of current fashion trends.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for fashion and a desire to learn and develop.
What we offer
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–4:00pm
