The Local Governing Body of St Gregory’s Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated class teacher to join our innovative and outward-looking school community. This is a temporary position to cover maternity leave.

We are looking for a teacher who is committed to making a positive difference in children’s lives and learning, and who shares our high expectations for pupil achievement and well-being.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a good understanding of the requirements of the national curriculum.
  • Have high expectations of all pupils to ensure they each reach their fullest, individual potential.
  • Have the ability to challenge all pupils and have high expectations of their behaviour.
  • Be enthusiastic, motivated and organised.
  • Have the ability to develop children’s well-being and self-esteem.
  • Demonstrate a positive working attitude at all times and believe in collaborative work.
  • Contribute towards the wider life of the school and community- building and maintaining positive relationships throughout.
