Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking food in your assigned section, such as grill, pasta, meat & fish, or pastry
- Ensuring all food preparation and cooking meet established recipes and quality standards
- Managing your section of the kitchen, including overseeing the work of commis chefs or kitchen assistants
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your section, and proper equipment maintenance
- Collaborating with kitchen staff and management to ensure timely food preparation and service
- Adhering to company food safety and allergen policies
- Keeping accurate records of food inventory, preparation, and waste
- Respecting everyone and maintaining composure at all times
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years\’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail, highly organized, capable of multitasking
- Proactive self-starter, able to work independently with good judgment and minimal supervision
