We are seeking a London-based Senior Video Editor & Motion Designer to lead post‑production across a global portfolio spanning sport, luxury, and adventure. This hybrid role requires a master of both narrative storytelling and high‑end motion design, capable of owning the entire pipeline from assembly to final delivery in Premiere Pro and After Effects. Beyond technical execution, you will champion AI integration, mentor junior talent, and help define the studio’s creative standards.

Job Functions

  • Post‑Production & Editing
    • End‑to‑End Delivery: Lead the full pipeline for brand campaigns, hero films, and social‑first content—from assembly and VFX to sound design and grading.
    • Storytelling Excellence: Craft high‑impact cuts with a deep understanding of pacing, narrative, and emotional resonance.
    • Platform‑First Strategy: Optimize edits for diverse formats and aspect ratios across broadcast, digital, and social media.
  • Craft & Technical Ownership
    • Finishing Skills: Deliver professional‑grade sound design, audio mixing, and confident color grading.
    • Motion & Graphics: Build animated sequences and titles using After Effects as a core toolkit.
    • Workflow Management: Maintain organized project files and robust asset libraries to ensure studio efficiency.
  • Motion Design
    • Dynamic Graphics: Create standalone animated films, kinetic typography, and graphic openers.
    • Brand Alignment: Ensure all motion output is system‑driven and coherent with brand identity.
    • Creative Collaboration: Partner with Designers and Creative Directors to translate static concepts into fluid motion.
  • AI & Emerging Tools
    • Tool Integration: Adopt AI workflows to boost efficiency and creative quality.
    • Knowledge Sharing: Champion new tech and inspire curiosity across the studio.
  • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Mentorship: Lead junior editors through constructive feedback and craft development.
    • Creative Partnership: Align with Directors to execute vision at the highest level.
    • Strategy & Standards: Influence pitches and define studio‑wide production benchmarks.

Skills and Experience

  • Exceptional editing skills with a strong portfolio spanning long‑form documentary, campaign content, and social media.
  • Expert‑level proficiency in DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong After Effects skills — confident building animated titles, motion graphics, and compositing.
  • Solid sound design capability, including audio mixing and music editing.
  • Experience with colour grading — able to produce polished grades independently and brief colourists with clarity.
  • Organised, process‑driven approach to post‑production workflows and project management.
  • Collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for AI tools in the video and motion design space — currently experimenting and staying ahead.
