Your Mission

We’re seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager with a passion for ideating, creating, briefing and managing engaging and relevant content. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for developing innovative content strategies, bringing them to life, and strategically managing their performance across platforms to resonate deeply with our client’s audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of engaging, platform-specific content (video, text, image, interactive, etc.) that resonates with target audiences and reflects the unique brand voice of the brand.
  • Define and implement content strategies that align with client objectives and brand aesthetics.
  • Stay at the forefront of algorithm updates, emerging platform features, and industry trends to continuously optimise content performance and reach within the same product category and beyond.
  • Develop and champion innovative content concepts that push boundaries and deliver significant results.
  • Lead the reactive creation and deployment of content to capitalise on emerging trends in culture, ensuring peak relevancy.
  • Contribute to the development of internal best practices and processes for content creation and management.

Content Creation & Production Oversight

  • Develop and manage the publishing of social-first content (including short-form video, image albums and copy) tailored to the unique specs of platforms.
  • Lead content calendar creation and population, ensuring alignment with strategy and timely delivery.
  • Create compelling post captions that elevate visuals and drive engagement.
  • Lead and collaborate closely with designers and the production team, as required, for more involved campaigns and shoots.

Community Management

  • Monitor all social channels to provide timely responses to comments and messages, fostering positive brand sentiment while enforcing community guidelines.
  • Proactively engage with followers, industry creators, and advocates to build a loyal community.
  • Identify emerging trends, common pain points, and customer sentiment within the community to provide actionable insights for community-powered content.

Performance Monitoring & Strategic Analysis

  • Lead the generation of insightful and actionable reports on social media performance, providing data-driven recommendations for optimisation in monthly reports and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends, benchmark performance, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Utilise social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics) to track, interpret, and report on performance at a strategic level.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Help lead the development and delivery of compelling client presentations and reports, clearly articulating content strategies, results, and future recommendations.
  • Proactively manage client expectations, complex client needs, and challenges, ensuring timely collection of assets and approvals.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams.
