We’re looking for a Head of Workforce Recruitment & Compliance to take charge of our recruitment, onboarding, and compliance strategy. About the Role: As Head of Workforce Recruitment & Compliance, you’ll lead the strategic direction and day-to-day management of our national recruitment and compliance function. You’ll ensure the right healthcare professionals are recruited in the right places - while upholding the highest standards of quality, regulatory compliance, and candidate experience. You’ll also oversee our offshore partnerships, ensuring standards are consistently met and exceeded.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Leadership: Design and deliver end-to-end recruitment and compliance strategies across multiple disciplines—including nurses, carers, and allied health professionals.
  • Team Management: Inspire and guide senior compliance leads, recruitment managers, and onboarding teams to deliver results.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong partnerships with external providers, educational institutions, and healthcare bodies to strengthen Newcross' talent pipeline.
  • Technology & Innovation: Leverage AI and digital platforms to streamline operations, reduce manual tasks, and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Candidate Experience: Drive best-in-class evaluation, onboarding, and retention practices to support quality hires and long-term success.
  • Data & Compliance: Use metrics and audit results to fine-tune strategies, ensure legal and regulatory compliance, and meet contractual obligations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, operations, marketing, and tech teams to support business growth and service excellence.
  • Brand Advocacy: Ensure every hire becomes a champion of the Newcross brand and our mission to transform healthcare delivery.

What You Bring:

  • Strong experience of operational leadership, with strong experience in recruitment or compliance at scale.
  • A proven track record in high-volume healthcare staffing across multiple specialties.
  • Executive presence and the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders quickly.
  • Strategic thinker and problem-solver with experience driving complex recruitment programs.
  • Strong grasp of employment legislation and best-in-class compliance practices.
  • Proficiency in ATS, CRM, and compliance tech platforms.
