Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to enable people plans and business priorities to be supported through change to create a stable, efficient and strengthened business.
- Provide advice and guidance on complex employee relations matters, in a fair and consistent way.
- Coach managers to address performance, absence, wellbeing and capability conversations.
- Facilitate change projects, restructures and organisational updates when needed.
- Use people data and insights to spot trends and recommend improvements.
- Deliver engagement, inclusion and culture initiatives across the site.
- Ensure people processes follow company policy and employment law.
- Work closely with recruitment, learning and reward teams to deliver joined up progress.
- Coach and build confidence in managers to handle people matters well.
Qualifications
- You will have experience of working at People Partner level and be able to demonstrate a range of related experience.
- Having a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
- You will have a strong knowledge of employment law and experience of managing complex casework.
- You will have managed people change processes across multiple departments and at different levels within a business.
- You will have experience of creating delivering a people strategy that aligns with the wider company strategy and of working with senior teams to ensure that this underpins wider business requirements.
- Experience of a coaching approach with managers to empower them and you will set an example through your calm, practical approach to problem solving.
- A self-starter with strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence at a senior level.
