The Opportunity
In this role as Specification & Artwork Technologist you will be based within the Meals Technical Services team. This role is key to ensuring customer specifications and artwork are accurate, compliant and audit‑ready at all times, supporting product launches from concept through to production.
Working closely with NPD, Process Development, Commercial and Procurement teams, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining product integrity, meeting customer codes of practice and ensuring food safety and labelling compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce, maintain and update customer specifications across multiple platforms (including retailer and internal systems)
- Collate and accurately summarise complex, multi‑page ingredient and raw material specifications to meet customer requirements and food safety audit standards
- Check, input and verify numerical data (nutrition, allergens, chemistry and product data) with a strong right‑first‑time approach
- Coordinate artwork checks for product launches, ensuring accuracy against approved pack copy and managing stakeholder feedback
- Support NPD handovers and product launches, ensuring critical path timelines are met
