The Opportunity

Are you a highly experienced cost accountant with a passion for partnering with commercial teams and driving product costing excellence? We’re looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to join our Commercial Finance team on a 6-month fixed term contract. As a key member of the Commercial Finance team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting decision-making across our Savoury Pastry Category. You’ll lead the costing team, own the NPD product costing process across three bakeries, and ensure governance and accuracy in costing to support critical pricing and product viability decisions.

  • Lead and manage the costing team to deliver accurate and timely costings.
  • Partner with Commercial and NPD teams to provide insightful product costings.
  • Maintain product and standard costs across relevant systems.
  • Support the annual standard reset process.
  • Attend feasibility, handover, and critical path meetings.
