As Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll lead and develop a high-performing QA team across a 24/7 operation. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving standards relating to food safety, legality, and quality, ensuring we consistently meet both customer and regulatory expectations. You’ll be the go-to expert for all QA matters on site, working closely with cross-functional teams to embed best practice and champion continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and developing the QA team, building a strong and capable function.
- Ensuring compliance with BRCGS standards and customer requirements.
- Acting as the key contact for food safety, legality and quality across the business.
- Driving resolution of non-conformances and out-of-specification results.
- Supporting and enhancing HACCP systems and auditing processes.
- Managing supplier quality, raw materials, and product release systems.
- Leading site audits, including customer and third-party interactions.
- Deputising for the Technical Manager when required.
