About The Role
As Process Manager, you’ll be accountable for the smooth delivery of all product launches, product changes and PIP initiatives, from feasibility through to handover. You’ll own the site’s concept‑to‑launch process, working closely with commercial, operations and technical stakeholders to manage risk, timelines and customer expectations. You’ll lead and develop the Process Development team, play a key role in operational and continuous improvement projects, and act as a trusted technical partner across the business and with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning and delivering all product launches, trials, pre‑productions and handovers.
- Ensuring full compliance with site and group Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
- Managing and escalating business, customer or reputational risk where appropriate.
- Leading, developing and succession planning for the Process Development team.
- Managing the Process Development budget and supporting site‑wide PIP projects.
- Acting as Super User for Recipe Professor and ensuring system integrity.
- Reviewing and implementing customer policies and overseeing customer onboarding.
- Contributing as an active member of Responsible Business and Project Control teams.
About You
You’ll bring the following skills and experience:
- A degree in a science‑based subject (or Food Safety Level 3 as a minimum).
- Proven experience leading teams in a Senior Process Development Technologist or Process Management role.
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
- Sound problem‑solving, decision‑making and stakeholder management skills.
- Competence with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
