We are seeking a Site Services Engineer to support the safe, compliant and reliable operation of utilities and infrastructure across Melton Foods and Chetwode Head Office. The role includes planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, statutory checks, contractor support and CMMS reporting across systems such as boilers, refrigeration, compressed air, water, drainage, electrical distribution, lighting, heating and other building services. Working closely with the Site Services Manager and Engineering team, you will play a key role in ensuring critical services remain available while contributing to site reliability, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and statutory inspections across utilities and building services.
- Diagnose faults and undertake reactive maintenance to restore critical services safely and efficiently.
- Maintain and support systems including boilers, refrigeration, compressed air, water, drainage, electrical distribution, heating, lighting and associated infrastructure.
- Support specialist contractors and OEMs, ensuring permits, isolations and site controls are in place.
- Complete accurate maintenance records and provide detailed CMMS/Mainsaver feedback.
- Identify equipment deterioration, reliability risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Support energy efficiency and utilities performance improvement activities across site.
About You

- You will have a Level 3 National Vocational Qualification, or equivalent qualification, in Engineering.
- Able to demonstrate that you are multi-skilled based on your qualifications and experience.
- Having strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- You will have experience maintaining utilities, facilities or site service equipment.
- Being used to working with planned preventative maintenance systems.
- You will have a good understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
