Were looking for a talented and driven Senior Management Accountant to join our finance team. This is a key role where youll take ownership of financial reporting, support operational decision-making, and help drive continuous improvement across our site.

Youll also play an important leadership role, supporting, developing, and managing the management accounts team while working closely with operational stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and timely weekly and monthly management accounts.
  • Deliver and enhance weekly P&L reporting and monthly reconciliations.
  • Lead variance analysis across materials, labour, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain detailed margin analysis, including SKU-level reporting.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and standard costing processes.
  • Identify and drive systems and process improvements.
  • Deputise for the Finance Manager when required.

About You

  • Be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
  • Have experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG.
  • Have a strong understanding of standard costing.
  • Be confident working in a busy finance function with competing priorities.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Be confident using MS Office, particularly Excel.
