Would you like a Senior Leadership role where you can make a real difference to people, performance and business success? As Group Health & Safety Director, you will lead our Group Health & Safety Strategy. Working closely with the Group Executive Board, Managing Directors and senior leaders, you will help create a culture where people take ownership of health and safety and look out for one another. We are looking for an experienced health and safety professional who can set clear direction, influence senior stakeholders and inspire teams to achieve excellent safety standards. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver the Group Health & Safety Strategy in line with business goals. Work with senior leaders to make health and safety part of key business decisions. Build strong relationships with regulators and external partners, including the Health & Safety Executive. Make sure key business risks are identified, assessed and well controlled. Develop health and safety capability through leadership development, training programmes and competency frameworks. A Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health and Chartered IOSH status, or an equivalent qualification. Significant experience leading health and safety within a large, multi-site manufacturing, FMCG or similar environment. Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation, governance and risk management. Experience developing and delivering business-wide health and safety strategies.
