As an Area Manager in our Deli Operations, you will lead the team to deliver work safely, on time and to the right standard. We're looking for a proven operations leader from a low risk environment experience, preferably in a meat environment, who can lead large production teams, drive food safety and quality standards, and deliver operational performance in a fast-paced environment.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant production area and play a key role in developing people, improving performance and supporting business growth. Maintain safety, quality and process standards and ensure they're followed consistently. Monitor performance, review data and take action where improvements are needed. Communicate openly, coach your team and support wellbeing, performance and attendance.
You are a resilient and credible leader with experience of coaching and developing teams in a chilled or high care food environment. You are confident in finding solutions, thinking ahead and making clear decisions under pressure. You understand food safety requirements and HACCP Level 3 and IOSH Standards. You have a solid grasp of production processes, KPIs and operational planning in a fast-paced setting. You communicate well, build strong working relationships and manage performance in a fair and consistent way.
